The Challenge

For the uninitiated, The Challenge is a game where the format changes every season. I could go through the meta game on how to play but that's not what we're focusing on. For this specific season, players were placed in random partnerships and forced to work together to compete in challenges. The best competitor each week would be given the ability to send in 1 team. The house would then vote for 1 other team to send into elimination. At each elimination, all individuals would compete with the worst one (or two) going home. The remaining challengers would then form a single team and continue the game

Now after reading that you might immediately come up with some strategies. Let me tell you, there were different strategies that every player had. Most competitors thought "man it'd be easiest if I had the biggest team because then we'd have the best of the best. On the contrary for me and my boy Pahee. We were the ONLY team to stay out of elimination all season.

Early on in the season I formed an alliance called "Good Guy Mafia" with JMilk, Dylan, Pino & Sam. A big draw to the format is that each TEAM gets one vote, not each individual. What this means is that each round that our small team made it farther we got more power per player in the vote. Unbenounced to me, there was another alliance that formed. It was the "Gible Is A Loser" alliance formed by Ark.

Why would they form an Anti Gible alliance?

Well if you don't know my gaming side, just know that I'm not exactly the kindest person in the community. I have the tendency to rub people the wrong way and playing in a cutthroat series for 3 years doesn't always make you friends. Moving forward there were 2 alliances that coincidentally had the same goal: To keep me out of elimination.

As the season progressed we got closer and closer to our goal. There was almost no stopping us because well, nobody wanted to stop us. We started throwing challenges to make it look like we're not threats. We started faking arguments so people would think we wouldn't even have a chance at winning a final. At an early point in the game there was a vote where Sam and his partner Goof voted opposite ways, nullifying their vote. I got a little bit peeved at this and decided to yell at Goof.

This resulted in to this day the funniest video confessional I have ever seen. I will show you below, just be warned it's rather vulgur.

Long story short I had a good time. Me and Pahee made it to the final and I flubbed a flow puzzle, causing us to lose the season. I made friends along the way and enjoyed it massively, I'll never forget the experience I went through

ORG Review

From a hosting perspective, the season went great. Everything was there from engaging and original challenges to graphics to an awesome format. I have no gripes or complaints with the season, and I look forward to seeing what Kazual's next project is!
